With the imminent approach of the new year and the Days of Awe, our preparations for the High Holidays move into highest gear. Several days before Rosh Hashanah we begin to recite the Selichot, a series of penitential prayers and liturgy.

Yizkor 4. YIZKOR BOOK
This Yom Kippur we will once again be publishing our annual Yizkor Book, which will be used 4 times a year during our Yizkor services and will be yours to keep after Yizkor at Shavout.
Kapparot 5. KAPPAROT
The ancient, mystical and symbolic atonement, consists of obtaining a white chicken to symbolize purification from sin, as it states: "And if your sins be like scarlet, they shall become as white as snow". The chickens will be donated to charity.

Sukkot 7. SUKKOT MUSIC FEST!
Adults and children are invited to our giant Sukkah for good food, fun and festivities. Program includes, Drum Circle, Music Talent Show, Dinner in the Sukkah and Blessing on the Lulav and Etrog.
